GIRL BAND OF THE YEAR?

Awesomest Shinee Saints, sometimes referred to as ASS, is a thirteen-member girl band from Singapore. They are currently the largest group under iRA Music.

Before debut, ASS was known as a group of girls with a talent for singing, dancing, acting, mc-ing and even bitching. The girls are very close with one another despite many differences. Many people thought "With Love" would be their first ever single, but not many knows that most of the members have already begun singing covers of other songs. Their first ever single that was sung by most of the members on July 7, 2008 is "Haengbok" a remake of both H.O.T and Super Junior. Most of the girls have also sang songs by TVXQ, SHINee, SUJU-M, to name a few. With that experience in their belts, the girls are ready for stardom.

On December 3, 2008, ASS debuted with their debut single "With Love," and also released a music video for "With Love" They made their official debut performance at Skypark, VivoCity, performing "With Love", on November 1, 2008. That performance was considered a memorable one for the members as it was dedicated to Zaty, a member of ASS, for her birthday. They were particularly known for their harmonisation during their performances. On January 13, 2009, the group, together with 2 members from SSF, sang a popular song from SNSD, "Gee". The song received rave reviews from many listeners, including SNSD themselves.

With all the encouragements these girls received from their seniors, ASS are set to be the next big thing since Wonder Girls and SNSD. With the experience that these girls had, they are set to take the world by storm.

One can expect nothing but great things from these girls.

ASS invests in Old Chang Kee?

Old Chang Kee is an established snack chain in Singapore specialising in curry puffs and other local snack. There were speculations, in early this year, that the owner of Old Chang Kee will be setting up a franchise in Korea. However, on 8th February 2009, it has been confirmed that the popular group, ASS, will be investing in Old Chang Kee, as they are regular patrons during their time in Singapore.

Old Chang Kee, now known as New Chang Kee, is well-known for their curry puffs and introduced two other types of curry puffs in 2005, namely "Sardine O" and "Pepper O". That same year, the products were renamed from its usual names to a hippier version such as Curry puff was known as Curry'O after the renaming.

And now, in 2009, New Chang Kee have come up with a curry puff, onstik and Feel’In dedicated to its investors, known as KICKASS’O, KICKASS balls onstik and KICKASS feel’in.

In return, ASS has come up with 2 short melodies for New Chang Kee.
New Chang Kee’s mission in Korea is to fulfil the deliver superior quality hot finger food and ready meals at a value-for money price positioning; in a clean, and customer friendly retail environment.
We hope they are able to do so.

ASS Moves into a Bigger House

All the 13 members of the new girl group, ASS, short for Awesomest SHINee Saints, have finally moved into a house together. The members were split between 2 houses before.

The leader of ASS, SeungMin, speaks of her delight, "I'm very happy that all my members are under the same roof. We are together now, and that’s how ASS should be."

The house has 5 rooms, and members spilt themselves in pairs and threes, to share a room. Sources claimed that their leader, Seungmin, shares a room with Hyunmin and Sunghae. Yunhee, Jinnie and Jaewon shares a room. Heejung, Hyemin and Sooyoung shares another room. Soohyun and Nikki shares a room whereas Soobin and Yeonhee shares the remaining room.

The house also has a dancing studio and a recording studio for the girls to practice when they're free.

"I'm very excited to move into a house. Before, we have to travel from one apartment to another just to meet our members," exclaimed their dorama qween, SooHyun.

Fans of ASS, Kickass, have been giving us pictures on the location of their house.

We’ll be awaiting for the official housewarming party that was rumoured to be held at ASS new house.
